Why Choose Bajaj Finserv?

Flexi Loan Facility – Flexi Loan gives you a benefit of flexibility to utilise your personal loan funds as per the need. With Flexi Loan, you are given with a loan limit and can withdraw an amount less than or equal to the given limit from your loan account anytime as per you need. You can choose to pay only the applicable interest on the utilized loan amount as your monthly EMIs and pay the principal amount at the end of the loan tenure. Or, prepay the principal amount without any additional charges whenever you have the funds available with you. This feature comes with a time period of 1 year, after which either you can renew the facility for next 12 months or can convert it into regular term loan facility.

Flexi Term Loan Facility – The difference between Flexi Loan Facility and Flexi Term Loan facility is that with Flexi Term Loan Facility, you can prepay your personal loan and withdraw the funds as many times as you want as per the limit assigned to you. It makes it more hassle-free and easy than Flexi Loan facility. Interest will be charged on the withdrawn amount only. However, the drawing power on this facility reduces every month, making the loan amount to zero at the end of the repayment period.

Pre-Approved Offers – If you're an existing customer of Bajaj Finserv then they will offer you pre-approved personal loan offers.

Competitive Interest Rate – Bajaj Finserv offers competitive rate of interest for higher credit limit as compared to a number of Banks and NBFCs.

Easy Loan Application – Availing a personal loan from Bajaj Finserv becomes quite easy because of easy loan application and processing.

Secure Fee for Online Application – Applying for personal loan online and getting instant approvals can make you pay secure fee for your online application. Bajaj Finserv charges a secure fee of Rs. 4,499 for salaried applicants and Rs. 2,999 for Chartered Accountants and Salaried Engineers. Whereas, no secure fee is applicable for self-employed applicants. However, you can choose to not pay the secure fee and lose the instant online approval benefit.

High Processing Charges – Processing charges on bajaj finserv personal loan are a bit high as compared to some competing banks and FIs. Currently, Bajaj Finserv charges a processing fee of up to 3% for personal loan.

High Default Charges – If you are worried about your repayment being late or the repayment cheque getting bounce, then Bajaj Finserv isn't a good choice for you. Currently, Bajaj Finserv charges late payment charges of up to 2.38% over the existing interest rate applicable on your personal loan. Apart from it, if your EMI got bounce for any reason, you will have to pay a charge of Rs. 1,200 in case of Salaried and Rs. 2,500 per instance in case of Self-Employed. For self-employed professionals, it is Rs. 1,000 per instance.

High Interest Rate – Rate of interest applicable on Bajaj Finserv Personal Loan is quite high as compared to many competing banks, especially for Self-Employed businessman where interest rate is as high as 18% per month of the loan amount. Currently, they charges a rate of interest equal to 12% of the loan amount per month for Salaried applicants, Up to 16% per month for Doctors and Salaried Engineers, Up to 17% per month for Chartered Accountants.

No Change in EMI Due Date – Having an option to change your Personal Loan EMI Due Date is quite an important point, especially in case of Salaried applicants who receive their salaries between 6th to 10th of each month. Since Bajaj Finserv has set a fixed due date (5th of each month) for personal loan and there no facility to change it, there's a huge risk that your EMIs will probably be late every month.

I won’t say Bajaj Finserv Personal Loan is the best but it is slightly better than other banks out there. My loan was processed on time and the interest rates are also quite low. The bank offers a loan up to Rs. 25 Lakh and there were various benefits of using FlexiLoans. Moreover, if you are an existing customer of the bank, you get to enjoy you get to enjoy pre-approved offers as well.

I applied for personal loan with Bajaj Finserv and I had a good experience. The executive who came to my house to collect the documents didn’t inform me about the insurance charges. The bank offered me impressive interest rates. It is my advice to the bank, that they should inform the customers of the different charges.
